In 2019 I ran from the Netherlands to Italy for happiness. 72 marathons in 112 days. On the way I asked: what can I do that makes YOU happy?

After the running adventure I became a nomad, and started travelling around als a catsitter, which I still do. Currently I play theatre performances about these adventures.

Run for happiness is an evening-filling theatre performance for adults.
Backpack of happiness is a children's performance of 35 minutes, suitable for children from 9 years old.

Both theatre performances are about the happiness and energy of the running adventure from The Netherlands to Italy, intertwined with the magic and stories of travelling.

Timeless wanderer

I ran for love to Sweden, couchsurfed for a whole month, lost two dear friends and met a lot of lovely cats. I collected the adventures in a collection of poems: 'Zwerver zonder wekker'.

What I do

THEATRE MAKER

As a theatre maker I write and play theatre performance about travel, adventures and happiness.

ADVENTURER

Curious about adventures? I experience them, to explore and cross borders. Mostly running, often with the purpose to move you.

WRITER

Do you want me to write for you? I would love to! I write in many different ways, like columns, poems, blogs, short stories, editorial work. I also wrote and published a book about an amazing running adventure and released a collections of poems.

WEBDEVELOPER

Are you doing or creating something beautiful and do you want a website? I would love to build it for you and brainstorm about what you need. This way we contribute to a more beautiful world together.

PUBLIC SPEAKER

I talk about the magic of travelling, running, crossing borders and following your dreams.

EXPLORER

Sometimes I discover something that doesn't fit into a box. At that moment I mostly learn something completely new. This way I keep exploring in life.
